happy {belated} bastille day to la france! how could i have been so neglectful?
did you celebrate bastille day? if i were in boston, i would have wanted to go to beehive, a delightful spot in the trendy south end with exposed brick, live music, french and north african inspired cuisine, and the most delicious champagne cocktails with whimsical names, which are always changing, sometimes with honey or ginger syrup, now with crème de violette or strawberry and rhubarb.
i think the best way to pay homage to la france would be indulging in an almond croissant from villandry for breakfast. bonne idée, non?
